15. Sign Out Process

NoahFace Visitor Registration provides the following sign-out options:

• List Selection
• Phone Number Entry
• No Sign Out

Note: Visitors that opt into using facial recognition can sign out using facial recognition. This works with both the List Selection and Phone Number Entry options.

List Selection

Visitors press the Sign Out button, select themselves from the list of currently signed in visitors, and then press the Sign Out button to confirm.

The advantages of this option are:

• It is very fast, and
• It allows you to select and sign out multiple visitors in one operation.

This is the default option, so no additional configuration is needed to use it.

‍

Phone Number Entry

Visitors press the Sign Out button, re-enter their phone number, and then press the Sign Out button to confirm.

‍

The advantages of this option are:

• It hides the list of currently signed in visitors from new visitors.

To use this option, configure in your Screen details:

‍

No Sign Out

If you don’t require visitors to sign out, you can disable the sign out process. To use this option, configure in your Screen details:

hideout=true

‍

Multi-Device Sign Out

By default, visitors can only sign out using the same device they used to sign in. If you need visitors to sign in using one device and sign out using a different device, configure in your Screen details:

days=1, anyout=true

‍

This will set the expiry date for visitors to today and allow all non-expired visitors (ie: all visitors that signed in today) to sign out on any device.

Note: Multi-device sign out does not track the sign in status of visitors across devices.
